Default SRS light

I just recently took apart my dash board to fix something and put it back together. Everything works fine but the SRS airbag light is on now. I cant remeber if it was before. Is it always sopost to be on? If not what should i do? And if it is, sorry for my stupidity.

Try unplugging the battery for a few seconds, reconnecting it- then check if the light comes back on. There's a good chance you left something disconnected or possibly even damaged a wire in the SRS circuit during your dash removal procedure. I'm about to remove my dash too to fix my defrost vents. Here's an instructional website you can use to double check your previous repairs. It's got lots of pictures and step by step guides.. Good Luck!

Did you unplug your air bag? that is the only reason that something like that would happen... open your glove box and drop the plastic on the dash and look at the red connector at the end of a yellow wire. It is more than likely unplugged

Check and see if your backup lights fuse is blown. I had my SRS light on and happened across a blown fuse for the backup lights and the light went off. Just somethin to try...........
