unless your not in a rush and have a decent amount of cash you can get the sl engine rebuilt then turn it into a tt and it would be all good but it is a little costly and time consuming

Michael i agree.

i also agree it not done half ***.

engine wise the SL has most of the parts.
of course you will a intercooler and all that other stuff.
oh and the water hosing. minus a few details.

the lower and upper intake. will work and throtle body.
i have done it. and injectors wiil have to be replaced.
since you boosting low. cause of 10:1 compresion

bur i still agree if your going to spend $10,000 on a full convertion
just buy a VR-4. then is really done right hahaha

I will have to dissagree in the sthealth.
looking better and of course its cheaper.
because it was made to be afordable.

ictponder
"also the convertions are not done half ***, I guess you wont know till you do one."

well most vr-4s and TT stealths in my area are over the 16k mark i am having trouble finding one. but today i found a '94 vr-4 with 71k on it. the 60k has been done, and he is asking 7500

heres the actual ad i found:

"Low mileage VR4 Twin Turbo, 6 speed manual, AWD/AWS, New Rubber, 60k maintenance done, Stainless Y-Pipe, K&N FIPK Charger, MOMO Steering wheel and shift ****, interior in good shape, engine runs strong – turbos are strong, brakes were just replaced, needs a little TLC and it will be a dream car. I also have stock crome VR4 rims and a set of Blizzak winter tires that I would include at no charge...Overall it is in good condition. Drivers seat is showing some wear on the drivers side leather, engine has lifter tick (Common), 3rd gear grinds going in unless you let the RPMS drop before shifting (Common) other gears shift fine. Airbags were removed because of new steering wheel but I have all stock parts."

deal or no deal?

Call on it and drive the car. Sounds WAY too good to be true. I have always said, if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. But if it runs strong and isnt BEAT to ****...thats a STEAL for a 2gen!!! Jump on that ****...

Michaels_RT, you keep doing things cheap, half ***...the guys around here with the spray painted cavaliers might let you join their club. But, hey, you saved a few bucks, good for you.
You are a ****in IDIOT. Have you SEEN my car? Have you learned ANYTHING about these cars? I didnt save ANY money. I went the EXTA MILE when I did mine. I had NO INTENTION OR DESIRE to change the engine. I WANTED the 10:1 compression. IMMEDIATE spool and more reliable!! But you wouldnt know anything about that. Someone along the food chain or morons told you what "HAD" to be done and you jsut went along, with no prior thought of your own or personal homework whatsoever. You dont even know the engines. So do yourself a favor, shut your mouth, and dont add to this. Last I checked...ONCE AGAIN...I am a boosted FWD...and you are a dickface trying to talk like you know ANYTHING.

DONE

Its a syncro. Nothing out of the ordinary. Little bit of a pain but if you arent power shifting I am sure it will be fine. Not TOO complicated to fix and for that price if the car runs well...still AWESOME deal.
