TT SWAP NEED HELP!!!
What up y'all. I will be doing a full TT Swap in the next coming months. I am getting a JDM TT ENGINE with wiring harness and ECU, Alternator, Starter, and Tranny. First off what do I need to do to the tranny to get it to work properly with my FWD Setup? I will be getting solid engine mounts and a LSD at the same time as I actually put the engine in. I am going to buy all the parts and be working on the engine for a while before I actually swap it with my NA. I have a couple more questions. Since I will be running the TT Transmission, when upgrading the clutch would I upgrade it with Clutches meant for the TT or for the FWD? I think it should be fore the TT but I am not 100% sure. And finally, When getting a new aluminum flywheel with runnin the TT Tranny, do I get the flywheel for the TT or for the FWD? Thanks I really appreciate whatever help you guys can give me. Peace! Oh yea...before I put the engine in I will be swapping turbos and manifolds, precats etc for a TDO5 Setup(I may go conservative and stick with TDO4 but either way I will be doing some engine building before I plop it in). I will also be getting some forged pistons and rods, porting the heads, CAMS etc before I just drop it in because I don't like doing crap twice. Help me out!! Peace
sorry nobody helped you out man. maybe they are all out of town or something.
go take a look at and join www.3si.org whenever you get a chance. they'll probably tell you, but you may wanna search the archives first, otherwise when you post the question you'll probably get bashed a little.
good luck

No offense to this site- but you need to join a 3S (3000GT/Stealth) only site if you want some real answers from people with the experience of having done the very same swap. Follow the link above and read on. Be careful what you ask and how you ask it. This site does not take kind to noob type Q's especially if the answer can be turned up with a simple search. Good luck!
