Default Turboing base 3L?

i have a version of the base 3000GT engine in my 92 plymouth duster, and it is only rated at 145hp i have done an intake and exhaust mod, and rutine stuff, NGK plat plugs, new clutch and such. this particular version runs an 8.8:1 comp on an overly conservative ECU. i was thinking of getting a 52mm throttle body off of a 3.3L crystler (supposed to fit if its a holly TB). in addition, i had sme more exotic ideas: such as 1) getting a 3000GT SL rear end and tranny and turning my duster into a RWD and 2) turboing my current engine or getting some SL N/A DOHC heads (supposed to be rated at 225 HP, might be higher comp though). i think turboing might be the easiest option, if i get a MegaSquirt ECU (200 bucks, fully programmable) and a 2..2 or 2.5L mitsu/chrystler turbo. opinions and suggestions are welcome and appreciated. thanks

Well bummer dude the DOHC heads will not fit your block. The block was used for several cars and the heads only a couple of cars but the same block.Until 1993 the block was a two bolt main and the early engines had some problems with the crank sagging in the middle. 93 and up had the four bolt main engine which is steel alloy and tough as hell. I am not wise to your engine so I dont know what you will find to tune it.
