Default valves,lifter or rod

hey everyone i have a 3000gt, i'm trying to put this car back together.it will not start.i have repaced starter 3 times,it has started to eat the flywheel when i try to turn the engine by hand (with spark plugs in) it is really tough to do,but does turn,i then poured oil in the spark plug holes, then it would still be kind of tough than it will slip(you can see the No.3& 4 pistons move up and down very fast) than it gets tough again to turn, but does make the turn., someone told me it was bent valves i took heads off and checked i could not find anything i than took them too a shop they say they replaced 12 valves, but they look the same too me? can someone help me?never head nor block is from this car.

Its very hard to follow what you wrote w/o any punctuations, but turning the engine by hand w/ spark plugs still i is normal. What was wrog w/ the 3kgt to begin with?

Why would you pour oil in the plug holes?

What you described is normal. That is what we call the 4 stroke cycle, and you were trying to push through them. Yes, there are spots where it will move freely, because every cylinder at that perticular time is not compressing.

The car throw a rod smashed valves in the first engine. This is a different engine.I bought the block from a salvage yard, the heads from Ebay. My question is if this is normal why will the Car not crank. It gets Gas and spark. The starter does kick over but, seems to sick somewhere on every rotation causeing the stater to crash into the flywheel making a loud noise.

The timing is as close as i can get it. I work on the timing alone for about 3hrs(putting it on,looking at it then taking it off then putting it back on) I like the car alot but my friend are starting to wonder whether I know what Iam doing.but thanks man any ideas would help.I guess I'll take the heads off and recheck the valves. thanks guys

Hi, I read your post. The flywheel hits the starter. Just on a whim, is the crank bent or is the flexplate or flywheel bolted on staight. It may even be a broken flexplate. Is the torque converter installed properly. This is a mix I don't know if it is auto or manual trans. Good luck.
