Default vr4 with an auto tranny? work???

ok, i've decided to just buy a vr4 engine and attach it to my automatic tranny. then i know i definitely have evrything to make the engine work. i'm still shaky about putting an engine with that much power onto an auto. but i keep hearing that it will work just fine. i wud also get the intercool somehwere. the hard part is going to be finding someone who's only selling the engine and turbos, and not the tranny and everything which wud just shoot the price up. doea anything else have to be changed on the car like the drivetrain or something since it's getting the extra power boost?

I might be bringing up something thats not relavent here,or may be...I had a Plymouth laser,2.0 Turbo AWD,which was( for a 4 banger) one bad little car,Sold it simply because after fixing the engine,I figured Id either get one hell of a ticket,or wrap it around a tree...anyway thats off the subject,My 3000gt is Standard Tranny Front wheel drive, its NOT turbo...Im not sure if they made a 3000gt AWD,but the reason they usually made the little DSM AWD was a bad "torque steer" issue on the turbo models.I THINK they made the first generation DSM turbos with fwd for a year or so,and found out there were quite a few Major accidents attributed to the additional power on Front wheel drive only.I know that from a standing start on the turbo laser if you werent holding onto the wheel youd get squirrly real fast. This as I said may or may not be an issue with the 3000gt...[sm=signs003.gif]
