Default VR4 flip-up headlight control

I was wondering if there is a way to tweak these so that they would stay down at all times, even with the light switch turned on. I know that when the lights are on, you can dial them down, so that they are shut, but if you turn the lights off, then back on, they go right back up, and you would have to adjust them again. I was wondering if there was a "secret" to making them stay down at all times, even after you turn them off then back on.
Thanks

Yeah theres three or four ways to do this.

One thing to keep in mind the plastic (snake eyes) can get super hot causing damage. Also they there really isn't alot of light projected when they are down.

Heres one link
