Even for $5,000 you'll have a little trouble finding a base one I imagine. My 96 SL had 94,000 miles and was in nearly perfect condition and I got it for $6,500 the best deal I'd ever found on one. That was luck.

However, I am thinking about selling mine. Check out my gallery, the pics of it are in there. I might be willing to let it go for $5,000 as it has a few minor issues with it right now. Let me know.

dam i think i got real lucky when i found mine. its a 93 SL with 124,000 for $2,500. with nothing wrong with it but some rips in seats. plus it had 17's and a sound system.........
