whats the best exhast for the 3000gt?
turbo or non? borla is the only company that makes a non-turbo exhaust. and for the $700-800 u'll pay for that you might as well make one yourself with a lil elbow grease. the stock one isnt true dual (its mainly on the left, then a pipe takes a little out of the muffler on that side and distributes it to the left), but you would be able to finagle one to go straight back on both sides. thats what i plan to do. if u have a VR4, then disregard this! :-) good luck!
DAMN Lynn.... You couldn't have put it better. Hey Zero; go to my cardomain account and you will see my undercairage pictures of my Borla exhaust. Let me explain this set-up. I am enlisted in the Marines, and when I was at home on leave, I bought a set of borla quad tips off ebay. These tips usually sell for about $200-250, but I got them for $89. I ALSO bought a Borla Pro XS muffler (single inlet, dual outlet) I had trouble fitting this muffler because I was short on time, so I put a "Y" pipe instead and bent the remaining out to the back. I wish I had put the muffler on my car because I heard it on my best friend's MKIII supra and it sounded INSANE. I HATE COFFEE CANS!!!!! They sound retarded, and they **** up your valvetrain on N/A cars. I have heard 3kgt's with these big obnoxcious exhausts, and they DON'T sound good. That is my advice.
Oh, by the way.... Lynn... can I have your number so we can talk? J/K
