12,000 miles ago. I change my front and rear rotors/pads. I didn't do my e-brake shoes.
As of last week I noticed my TCL and Anti-brakes are lit amber and the TCL flashes when the car starts and will not go off. I will manually hit the TCL off and the light stays lit, but stops flashing. The brakes seem to grind when almost to complete stop. I'm baffled because, I inspected the brakes and each pad all the way around has roughly a 1/4 inch of pad left. Each rotor is as smooth as a baby's behind. I don't have a micrometer, but I guess a 1/64 of an inch of wear like finger nail thick on all the rotors. Also to add, I have low end silverwear brakes on the car.
Any advice re: the lights and the grinding?????
