This is not my first Mitsubishi, in 1992 I bought a Mighty Max p/u new from the dealer in Lynn Mass for just under 5K. I loved that truck! it had a 2.4 L 4 banger that was bone stock, I drove the hell out of it and it became a high school graduation present to my oldest son. Fast forward: here I am in Las Vegas, retired and looking for a "project car" and discovered a 1998 Diamante for sale for $1800 with 115,000 miles on it. Obviously garaged it's in remarkably good shape and for sure has a lot of power with the V6 . I was part of the MINI Cooper S crowd who bought into the new brand from BMW in 2002.
I paid a lot of money for the car and over the next 5 years dropped another 10K into mods: 15% reduced pulley for the supercharger(alta) , B&M short Shifter, HK rear sway bar, Unichip, Alta cold air intake , Remus SS catback exhaust.....well, you get the idea.
What has anyone done to this model Mitsubishi? where are upgrades available? what works or DOESNT work? anyone?
