Hi,

I have recently bought a 2003 Diamante v6 - LS. This is the first I am buying a car.

I am seeing only 13miles per gallon in this car (without AC). Is this normal or is there any problem in this car.
Recently I have done these following repairs,

a) Remove and Replace EGR Valve
b) IDLER pulley reattach
c) New Air Filter
d) new tires for front wheels with wheel alignment
e) transmission, brake fluid, engine degreaser
f) new alternator

 

I'm not sure why you are getting such bad mileage ..? Have you changed out your air filter, tuned it up with plugs, wires and distributer cap and rotor ..? If you haven't I would suggest these things.
