Default 2004 Diamante HO2 Bank 2 Sensor 1 location

Hello, I need some help correctly identifying Bank 2 sensor 1 to replace the HO2 sensor, I have read conflicting information on the location of this sensor. Also, I don't want to pay $300+ for the sensor, anyone used a non-OEM sensor that was compatabile? Thanks for your help

The 2004 Diamante follows the California emissions setup and has mini catalytic converters immediately following the exhaust manifolds. When a sensor is before the catalytic converter, it is called a Front, or #1, sensor. When it is after it is called a Rear, or #2, sensor. Bank 1 is at the rear of the engine (called the right side on a Diamante) and Bank 2 is at the front of the engine (called the left side).

You can get the exact same sensor that the dealer carries for much less at DensoProducts.com They call the sensors by Front and Rear and Left and Right. You can order from densoproducts or search for the Denso by part number and get it cheaper from Rockauto.com or amazon.com.
