Default Brake System Upgrades?????

I've got a 2002 Diamante, and it seems like the factory brake rotors just don't hold up to city driving that well. I had the brakes honed at 30,000 miles, and now at 55,000 they need to be replaced. I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their rotors on a Diamante. I've looked at Brembo and I've also seen upgrades available on ebay. Any thought, suggestions? Do you know about what I should pay? I recently put a set of 18 inch wheels on the car, and I would really like to get a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors in there to upgrade the look of the car, but I've heard that the cross drilled rotors have a tendancy to warp even faster than the stockers. I wouldn't think this would be true since they disburse heat better, but I've never upgraded the brakes on a car before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anybody have any experience with these?

I found quite a few different people selling rotors on ebay, and in this auction you get all four rotors and pads for $185. With shipping it was about $230. I think I might give them a go unless someone else has had some experience with the places that sell the rotors on ebay.
