Heater Blower not running
The Blower Motor on My 2001 Diamante just didn't run one morning recently. Since there are 102,000 Miles on the old girl, and I had heard some suspicious squawks from the blower recently, I bought a replacement Blower Motor.
Yesterday I installed it and NOTHING.... I checked the Old Motor I removed with direct jumper wires from the battery and VIOLA it runs fine.
STEP Two... I put a volt meter on the two wire feed plug to the motor and it reads Battery Voltage when the Heater control is OFF. When I push the "Automatic" setting on the climate control, the Voltage drops to 4.3 V. The climate control indicator screen seems to show the controls are operating Normally, BUT the Blower Motor doesn't run...
ANY IDEAS?
