Help! '02 Diamante OBD Codes P0141, P0113, P0102, P0107
My dear sweet daughter alerted me that her inspection is due on her '02 Diamante v6 and tshe wanted me to take a quick look a it for her. Low and behold she has multiple codes and her check engine light is on. Needless to say, I asked why she didn't have me or someone look at this prior to her inspection date. She said the light never bothered her (she has a picyure of my Grandkids covering it). Any help with troubleshooting these codes would be greatly appreciated.
P0141 = O2 Bank 1 Sensor 1: Is this the before or after cat. left or right? Are there any checks that I should pwerform prior to replacing the sensor?
P0113 = IAT Sensor High Input: No clue
P0102 = M.A.F Low Input: No Clue
P0107 = MAP Sensor Low Input: No Clue

Hi Miles2go
I just posted hear for the first time the other day. I'm a newbie here also, so of course I'm more willing to help, hehe. As far as the 02 sensors go, I would think the first sensor is the one before the cat. My 97 Diamante has 2 , one before and one after the catalytic converter. Under the car you can see the wire running up into the bottom of the car. I'm not exactly sure how it runs to the pcm, we started thinking it might run under the carpet.
I have had lots of codes but none you mention. There is a cleaner that they make specifically for the MAF sensor, cost me like 8 bucks for the can. If you remove the MAF and look inside all you see is a little tiny sensor that the air runs past. I would give that a good cleaning, that may remove the MAF code. Otherwise getting a new MAF can cost a lot. Hope this helps, good luck !!
