Default How do you get to the upper rear strut mount on a '99 Diamante?

I just bought a 99 Diamante. The rear strut is really loose, and I'd like to put a new one in. Problem is, I can't locate the upper mount to take the strut out. Any ideas? Thanks, John

First make sure it is the strut and not the knuckle pillow bushing at the bottom of the strut. Those are known to go bad and can be replaced independently of the strut.

If it is the upper strut, to get to the strut upper mount you remove the rear seat.

No, it's definitely the top of the strut. I can grab it a shake it with little effort. The bottom is solid, the top is not.
