Default No Start After, Jump Start

Hello, Newb Here

My daughter has a 97 D and it wouldn't start the other day. Well like any other car I gave it a jump start and she drove off. Midway down the road the car just died in mid roll. I replaced the Battery, Alternator and distributor and it still wont start. There doesn't seem to be any spark. Its getting fuel. The chilton says to not hook the ground to the battery when jumping. Did I fry the ECU?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its possible you fried the ECU but highly doubtful, get a voltmeter and test your battery voltage, and check to be sure you installed everything correctly I know it seems mundane but the simplest things are the ones most easily messed up, and speaking of simple always always check your fuse's ya never know what one can do till it pops.
