Default oops I replaced the battery without a key fob

hey anyone out there

I replaced the battery in shelle's car we have no key fob. and now everytime we open a door the alarm goes off!!!!!!

can anyone help out?

You can buy a new remote from the dealer or there are a few places online you can get the pretty cheap that aren't ebay- just do a search either on this site or google On the top of this page in the "toolbar" there is a search tab to search the old threads- I know this has come up a couple times. You could also try to disable the alarm, but I would think that getting the remote for $40 or so would be a much better option.

it shouldnt go off using the key.
try using the key in a different lock (the passenger door, trunk, etc).
if it works fine there, you have a problem with the lock cylinder switch on the drivers side door.
