Default Engine won't turn over

I have been having a very random problem as of late. When I turn the key to start the car, I hear a click and all the power goes out. If I give it a few minutes power will slowly come back on. Watching the lights they fade back on, not just at once. It is not until I disconnect the ground cable from the battery and reconnect it that I can start the car. There are some times I just wiggle the cable and it does the trick. Does this sound like a cable issue or is it more than that? Thanks.

This is most likely going to be a bad battery. While theoretically, you could have a starter or wiring issue that could cause similar symptoms, neither are common on this model at all. Your first step is going to be having the battery tested properly, and ultimately replaced if/when it fails in testing.
