Causes for drive shaft issue
I have a 2011 Endeavor SE with 92k miles on it/original owner so my warranty still holds.
I have a boat and I tow it to the lake once in a while. Would you guys know if this may have caused the wear of the drive shaft? Just curious. Thank you!

I own an 04 Endeavor also. It's a shame that this model has so many problems which are so expensive to fix. I've done the $800 drive shaft, repaired the air conditioner leak on the driver side floor (cheaply but what a pain in the ***!), had front break calipers rebuilt and replaced a few times because of the loud rattle noises...and now I'm facing the very expensive vibration from the transmission. I avoided the tranny repair for a year so far by adding GM rear end additive to the tranny. But now, after spending $650 on new tires, the vibration is back. If anybody stopped me and said they were thinking of buying an Endeavor of any year, I would tell them not to. I have too much money into this damn truck to just get rid of it. I bought it with about 30k miles. I now have 112k. I need it to last 2-3 more years. Then, I will NEVER buy another Mitsubishi again.
Oh, by the way, my drive shaft was making the whining noises but I just turned the radio up louder. It was replaced because my mechanic thought it was the source of the vibration at speeds of 20 to 40 mph. No such luck.
