I am looking for some help regarding the heat shield on the exhaust piping. Does anyone know if they are separate from the pipe or one assembly? I have a vibrating tin sound and tracked it down to the heat shield on a exhaust pipe

They are welded to the pipe . Practically they are useless and not exist at all from 2007 models . If you will bring it to the Mitsu dealership they will cut them with the grinder and will charge you about $100 . So - I just cut them all once they were rusted and have no problem since there .
