Default 2005 Endeavor and the long tow

I am about to be making a 2000 mile move, sort of restarting life. I am only going to be towing a 6x12 trailer that will be pretty well filled and the cabin will be loaded as well with two passengers and a child.Everything I am reading gives the Endeavor a 3500# towing capacity. My question is first will the Endeavor handle that trip stock, or should I upgrade some items (i,e, brakes, suspension). I would love to get your thoughts. Thank you.

Default RE: 2005 Endeavor and the long tow

I have a 2005 AWD limited with factory tow package, I tow a 3300 lb bass boat single axle no brakes all over NewEngland . NY with several 500 mile trips. Let me tell you the Endeavor pulls the boat like a dream, 65-75 on highway no problem hills in NY &Maine. It has way more power and torque than it needs. Stops good considering no brake son trialer and have yet to warp a rotor. We have 65 k on ours and truley love it. I also own a 2004 Chevy Astro AWD with factory 5000lb package and the endeavor is much better to tow with.

No boat 19-22 mpg with 87 octane
With Boat 17-18 mpg with 91-93 ocatane and thats highway at 65+

Use 91 -93 when towing....
