2007 Endeavor SE iPod adapter???
Has anyone ever used the iPod adapter in a 2007 Endeavor SE with the 6-disc Rockford system?? I asked the dealer about it, and all they could tell me is that one existed. My head unit doesn't appear to have an "AUX" option, although it does have AM-FM-SAT and CD buttons...I'm guessing it would work in tandom with the Satellite radio...guessing being the key word there. I just want to know how it works, for example, does it work with my steering wheel controls...does it act as if it is a "CD" like some iPod adapters I've seen for other cars...?
Honestly, if someone can just tell me that, yes it works and you have to control all the music directly on the iPod, but it gives you that direct interface so CD quality sound, then I'm golden, I'm just not getting any reliable information from the dealership, any help is appreciated! Thanks!

2007 Endeavor Ipod success
Hey,
I had the same question for my 07 Endeavor, and the answer is YES. Holding both the CD+Radio buttons on your system, will take you to AUX mode. You must hold the CD button first before holding the Radio. But regardless, you can buy an Aux cord on eBay, which is way cheaper than the $125 my Mitsu dealer quoted.
Now, i'm not exactly a car savvy guy, however, I was able to install the cable into the back of my head unit myself. Following the directions of which wire goes into which harness is key. But I've never been happier since installing the cable.
