IPOD Adapter - No AUX back of console
Hi all.
I live in the UK and bought a 2009 Outlander GSE Limited Edition Model 3 weeks ago with built in roof mounted DVD player in the rear but with no MMMS. Absolutely love the car, loads of space compared to my Audi TT which I owned before this. Anyway, looking through this informative forum at all the threads I am wanting to be able to connect an IPOD / MP3 media player to do away with discs all the time. I have removed the cover from the rear of the centre console and there is no connection as pictured in other threads.
Is this because I have the rear roof mounted DVD player??
Can I connect an IPOD lead to the back of the headunit (Which is the single MP3 CD Player version)?? ....as when I press the CD button for 2 seconds, AUX appears on the screen
I don't want to go down the RF route as the DVD player uses 88.1 FM to be able to play through the speakers and the quality isn't shall we say perfect (My 4 year old doesn't notice but as a music lover I notice every hiss, fart and squeek lol)
Hopefully you guys might be able to help me.
