My car is a 2008 Mitsubishi endeavor. If the car is locked and you unlock it with either the key fob or the lock in the door the alarm will go off when you open the door. The alarm turns off off i push the unlock on the key fob or start the car. This is an old car with 180,000 + miles on it and I would like to just disable the alarm system. Does anyone know how to do this.

 

Hi. Not sure about 'dis-arming' it. It's tied in with the immobilizer sytem.

If it's the warning horn blowing that bothers you, disconnect horn wiring. Lights will still flash.
