Hi everyone,

Hope someone can help. Returning to my car after work the alarm had somehow activated itself. Unlocking with the key, and starting the car doesn't deactivate it. Ended up driving home with the alarm and indicators blaring.

The keyfob lost connection to the car a good few years ago so was never able to lock/unlock the car from a distance for a while, have been using the key in the driver's door to unlock the car. The keyfob does still have a working battery and the little red light shows on the fob when the buttons are pressed but nothing happens.

I'm not sure how the alarm has been activated as I've never activated it before. I've tried all the tricks I've seen online using the wiper stick but I don't even get a beep after 10 seconds.
