I am at 70k (couldn't this have happened 10k ago when still under bumper to bumper) and the other day I started up the car and there was constant static coming from my OEM Rockford Fosgate subwoofer (full volume even when the volume is at 0). If I turn the volume up I can hear the music but the static is still present.

I have the radio turn off, but everytime I start the car it must check the system on the radio because the static goes on for about 1 sec during the startup sequence. Only the subwoofer has this issue. I was hoping the subwoofer had its own fuse in the fusebox so I could just pull the fuse and turn it off but I am not that lucky. Any suggestions. It's not blown, I do not crank music and it is constant regardless of CD, Sirius, AM or FM.
