ac blower motor melts connector ---help
i have a 2004 mitsubishi endeavor and my blower motor stopped working and i checked the blower motor and the connector in the bottom is melted i spoke with a parts guy at the dealer and he said the blower motor transistor went out. is this accurate or is the motor causing this issue? any help would be much appreciated

the blower moter has shorted and melted the connector. you will need to get a new blower motor and connector. dealer is only one that has that connector. there is a TSB out on this and it has part numbers for both on it.
