Hi all! I just purchased a new 2008 Endeavor and I've noticed an air leak noise on the drivers side door when I'm driving (even at relatively low speeds). I took it in for warranty service and they completely replaced the weatherstripping seal inside the drivers side door, but it's still making the noise. Anyone else have this issue? What have you done to fix?

It could have a leak around the side mirror, I have seen that a few times but mind you I work on fords. But just an idea.

 

It sounds like it's coming from the back end of the door up top ... like if I'm sitting in my drivers seat and turn my head to the left, the top left corner of the door is where it sounds to be coming from.

 

have you checked to see that your window is sealing properly when it is rolled up? also is it possible that it is road noise from a roof rack perhaps?

 

Was the car ever in an accident? There is probabaly a slight gap between the door and the body where the weather strip isn't sealing 100%.

 

Do you have window side delfectors on your doors? (can you pls take it easy with the colors?)lol.

If you have those thenthey are making those sound. I have those on my car.

Second did you ever left your key in your carand called Triple AAA to open your car?

they used a wedge to open the door?

if so the door has a gap. Even a slight gap of a few centimeters the wind create annoying sounds

i had the same exact issue and the stealership fixed it for me under warrenty
it was the weather strip at the door, wearing out.. they replaced the whole thing for me, and now, not even a faded whistle...

it took them around 3 weeks though to get it, they said it was on "national backorder"... i dont know if it was true or them being lazy @$$es, but anyways... let them check it for u and see
