Front calipers a bit loose, normal?

Front calipers a bit loose, normal?

I was putting on winter wheels today and noticed that the front brake calipers have a bit of play in them, i.e. if I grab it and shake there's a little bit of travel.
Is that normal? Both rears were pretty snug.

normal. if you couldnt move the caliper the the brakes would be applied and the vehicle wouldnt move
