Lightbulb Front Axle Noise - Is that Normal?

When driving around in very slow speed, ie- 5 KM/h, and while turning, I sometimes hear the front axle noise. Is this normal???

Example situation - Turning into a parking spot very slowly. Front axle makes noise...

What does front axle noise sound like??? Does it happen when you are stopped and move the steering wheel?

Thanks for the quick reply.
I don't think it happens when the car is stopped and I turn the wheel.
I think it only happens when the wheel is spinning while turning (very slow speed).

You could actually hear the noise with all the windows up and music off. It just sound like, "clung clung clung clung", and when you turn the wheel straight again, it goes away. This doesnt happen every time, but does happen.

Hmm, well I would suspect either the wheel bearings or CV joint. However, on a relatively new car it shouldn't be an issue. Did you bring it into your dealer to get it checked out?

I agree with ivans, I've had a few CV joints fail on me and it makes a popping noise when turning. I'm told a wheel bearing will make a more grinding noise.

You had CV joints replaced on your Outlander?
I don't understand why would this occur on a some what new vehicle.

I only have 25k on my Outlander XLS and last week I had to replace the front driver side wheel bearing. A little disappointed I had a 2006 Nissan Xtrail 160k and never had a mechanical problem.
