Default Fixing up my brakes - little help? trying to chose parts

Ok, so i need to fix up my braking system. Its been a while, and figure I'd do it myself this time. It would be very Gusta if you guys could help me make sure i didn't forget anything, as well as help me decide on good parts.

its a 2003 Outlander, FWD, front brakes are rotors and rear are drums.

OK, so heres what i already got coming in the mail for the front of the car.
PowerStop Complete Brake Kit, Power Stop Brake Rotors and Pads, Powerstop Brake Kit

I think this set covers Both Rotors and both sets of brakes? Can you guys confirm this? They seem to fit the bill. I have it set on the site for my car, so compatibility shouldn't be an issue.

I dont think i need anything else for the front right? please let me know if i am. Dont wana find out the hard way

>_>
<_<
._.

Moving to the back. Since they be drum brakes (which im not too familiar with) I'm really going to need your guys opinion on this.

which of these should i be looking to get for the drum?
03 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander Brake Drum - Brake - Beck Arnley, Centric, Pronto, Winhere, Rear - PartsGeek

I was thinking the one from Centric - getting 2 of them obviously. But should i be looking to get a different one?

as for the shoe set, I was thinking the 2nd one in this list (ones from Beck Arnley)

It looks like they come with 2 sets, which is all i need. But once again, should i bee looking for a different set?

I was told there is a set of springs involved with drum brakes that i should be looking to replace as well just for good measure. I have no idea what they would be called, or where to get them. A link to some place where they are affordable would be awesome. i cant imagine them being expensive in the first place.

So besides the spring for the drums, am i missing anything? Is my selection good?

Thanks for the help guys!

Are you looking to "upgrade" the brakes or just quality OEM replacement? If it's the latter then I'd say your selections look good. Make sure you check a lot of places for prices, auto parts prices vary hugely from site to site.

If you wanted an upgraded brake kit, I'd say the front set is still a good choice (unless you wanna break the bank). But for low cost improvements you can get stainless steel braided brake lines pretty reasonably and those tend to make a big difference. Also, you could always check part numbers or just compare them, and see if the disk brakes from the newer Outlanders could be retrofitted to your rears. Just a thought.

Make sure you check and lube your emergency brake while you got it all apart, btw.

The star adjusters are usually cleaned up, greased and reused on drums. You may want to replace them if you're replacing all the springs/c-clips/hardware too. Depends how they look, better to buy them before the job and return them to a local auto store if you don't use the new ones. That's the problem with online shopping you can't have consumables on hand just-in-case.

Find a good how-to for a general brake drum installation online which will explain how to find your grease points on the back of the shoes and the basic workings of all the springs. Get a spring tool to save your knuckles and take lots of pictures so you can look how things were installed. Do one side at a time so you can look at how the other is installed.

Thanks guys.

They're just to replace the originals. Not really an upgrade.
