is that link kit on the far side of the box activated by the mode motor? will moving it redirect the airflow and get him by for the time being?

i ask because you sound like you've taken 1 or 2 of these apart before. and this isn't a headlamp connector we're talking about...lol

Its directly driven by the motor itself. Something has probably caused the mode "roll" to bind, but the motor will keep trying to turn it until it breaks.

im having trouble getting the glove box out. i took out all the screws out i could, does it just pop off of the hinges? (the ones showed below)

oh and i got the namual on cd, its a lot to take in at once.
