Transmission leak at 3x.000 miles?

Transmission leak at 3x.000 miles?
I just discovered a noticeable transmission fluid leak in my 07. The truck has less that 40.000 miles on the odometer.
That's kinda early to have this kind of trouble, is it not?
That, in addition to the passenger front axle leaking grease pretty bad so I had to replace it. What the heck is going on with this truck...
