Where is the Headlight adjustment screw located
I have a 2005 Endeavor and I have been looking for posts that describe how to adjust the headlights. My driver side headlight is higher than the left. I've looked all over and can't find exactly where the adjustment screw is located.
I tried turning a screw with what looks like a gear but that doesn't seem to be doing anything.
I would appreciate it if someone can provide me directions and maybe a picture showing me where the adjustment screw is located.

Hey,
I just installed an HID kit in my 2004 Endeavor and found out where to adjust the headlights. I also looked all over the web for answers to this and couldn't find it but, I did find some information that was helpful from FixYa website. So, I figured I might as well help another fellow Endeavor owner solve this problem and pass this on.
You can find the adjustment screws in the back of the headlight, it was a little awkward as to why Mitsubishi put them in such a weird place.
However, usually headlight adjustment screws/nuts are on top of the headlight assembly lamp, behind the assembly lamp or near the frame rail by the radiator support.
I give courtesy to super_guy from FixYa.com:
"The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.
You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well
Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)
For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.
For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall ." (Super_Guy, 2009).
I hope this helps you any, if you have any other questions about your Endeavor, or you want me to give you more detail as to how I adjusted it; just email me.

hey man I appreciate the post. The are 2 screws with what look like gears with teeth behind the headlight assembly. One is closer to the radiator and the one is closer to the side fender. I was turning the one closer to the radiator and that was the wrong one. That one moves the light left to right. The one closer to the side fender is the one that controls up and down movement.
Thanks for the help though.
