MR comes with better struts/springs (Bilstein/Eibach) and a 6-speed transmission and then some other luxery stuff like different seats and stereo controls on the steering wheel

Advisebuy a manual. Automatic is 6 speed but manual you can brake 2 feet from the car in front of you as for the automatic
it takes awhile to stop the car. You have more control on your car with manuals.

I think the interior are the same for GSR and MR with carbon fiber trim and Recaro seat. GTSLancer, LancerRalliart and lancerEvo are almost the same but not quite.

If you have 40,000 buck you can buy the EVO X

If you buy the ralliart cash you can get it for $28,000 fully loaded with manual tranny or if you are a good talker it might go down $27,680

Ralliart is almost the same has a X but smaller turbo (better gas mileage)
and about 250 horspower or correct me if I am wrong. evo has 300 hp.

Me? I will buy the Ralliart next time.

I call it the Mid Grade Lancer Brother or the middle brother of the Lancer family. (I sound like the flintstone)

I have a ES Lancer with 38,000 miles (I bought it last year).

it is really up to you. But I will be cautious with the gas mileage. because you never know When the gas prices will GO BACK SKY HIGH. now it is cheaper but who knows it might go back to 4 buck a gallon

the ralliart is nothing like the EVO X. The ralliart came with way worse suspension and a cheaper LSD setup than the evo. As well as underpowered. Tests showed that the Lancer GLS actually outperformed the Ralliart in a few driving test. I think the ralliart is overpriced for what your getting. I would go for the GSR IMO.

if the price of fuel is a concern (when considering an EVO or any other performance vehicle) then you are possibly considering the wrong car to buy. Maybe a focus or a chevete, or even a prius, but I guess you can complain about the performance then...
