One of my co-workers informed me of a rather bizzare conversion I had never realy thought of. Has anyone ever heard of en eclipse to evolution conversion (put an evolution drivetrain into an eclipse)? The more I think about the idea, the cooler it sounds. Also, if someone has heard of this, canthey guide me to a place where someone has gone into detail about the conversion?

Also, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this topic, but I couldn't think of where else to put it.

Some 3Gs are now converting to AWD. not sure if it is Evo stuff althoug I assume it is partly

Mitsu made a 4g AWD turbo Eclipse for SEMA a few years ago. It may have been called a Rally Art Eclipse, but I don't remeber.

+1....mitsu needs a performance beast besides the evo imo.

 

Actually what mitsu needs right now is to consolidate a lil bit more as a company and bring in such options as more mpg/go green rides, needs to establish a more down to earth or closer to people marketing experience, which im pretty sure is what theyre aiming at at the moment. After doing this mitsu will get the revenue and new techonologies to develop a stronger eclipse and give following to the evo =)
