Default boost issues

Hey guys i just got a Greddy Profec B Spec 2 boost controller onmy evo with the stock turbo set at 19 psi and there is something wrong. My gauge was bouncing up and down the whole time i would launch. In 1st and 2nd it wouldnt even hit 15 psi but in the high gears my boost gauge was bouncing from 10 psi to 14 psi then down to 10 psi back to 16 psi back down to 10 psi and then back up to 19 and it took forever to get there, i was at 6500 rpms before it would hit that and the onlything that i can think of is my wastegate is bypassing my turbo. help me out
thanks

no i bought it new and i had it professionally installed, however it could possibly be installed wrong i dont know for sure. Another thing is that it gets all screwy when it is on my high setting but when i have it on my low setting at 10psi the needle stays burried on 10 and works like it should but when they boost is turned up it acts up.could it be in the waste gate? because it seems like when it drops all the pressure just disappears and drops all the way down to 10 psiwhen my pedal is still floored and then after a second or so i bounces back up and keeps repating that.

I doubt it. I mean before the install it boost fine right? and that was the only thing changed. I assume they might have hooked up the VAC lines wrong. There are differnt types of hook ups depending if your on an external gate of internal. They might not have taken that into consideration or paid attention to that.

Make sure its not a boost leak . I doubt it is though
