Default Boost leak test

Can I do it through the BOV hose? I seen people do it through the turbo but I'm thinking if I hook a compressor up to where the line goes from the boost gauge to the BOV I can disconnect it from my BOV and connect it to my compressor. Sufficient enough?

your connecting your boost guage to the BOV? Not the ideal place for it.

And i dont really understand what you said...your gonna take the line comming from the boost guage and hook up the tester to it?
