bov rec kit.. where to buy???
do you have any surging problems with it that way??? What brand and filter do you have??? It looks like the one from the link is kinda cheap and it looks like yours is metal, plus your air filter look like better quality.
Well the link is not something I would buy it was just a reference. Mine are both from injen intakes made for the 3G eclipse actually same with the intake pipe we just cut it and shaved it to fit the EVO. so yes mine is better quality than the link
and no surge probs. I have had no prob at all with the intake on my car it was my first mod back when the car had like 15k on it im at 41k now

how much do you think it would cost for just the adaptor and filter?? Also Since you already have done it and know exactly what to do, would you be interested in making one for me?? I'd pay you to make it for me.. Im just throwing it out there, if not no big deal.
Well mine was made out of an intake designed for another car we had to do alot of cutting for it and it is honestly kind of rigged on. the Dump for the BOV is JB welded on and the intake pipe is bigger than the inlet to the turbo so I have to coupler layered on the inlet so the pipe will fit. Man I see you take really good care of your cars, they are very clean, looks like there is not a spec of dirt in the engine bay. Im lazy my other car was just horrible under the hood..lol. Well I look around and see if I can find a setup for sale somewhere like the one the ebay auction you showed me, if you happen to see a something for a good price let me know. I was just wondering whats the average price for the hks ssq bov?? I paid with shipping 163 bucks, was that a decent deal?? Thanks emonz for all your replies.
I found the adaptor on the lancershop website, is this correct?? If so I can just go to autozone or somewhere and buy a k&n filter and put it on as long as its the right size right?

thanks, so with the filter and adaptor its gonna run me about 60 bucks. Oh I did a little searching on the net about the hks ssq recir setup, I first found out that unforunately because I will run it in recir I wont get that high pitch sound that I wanted, its more like a wooosh sound, I guess because you have to take the insert out and put that adpertor piece in its place, so its got more of a mopar bov than what itts suppose to sound like. I seen alot of talk about some sort of screw on the bov to adjust the springs, but when i look at mine thats not there, mine have a full plate and no bolt or screw showing, do i have a different version or something? I just hope I dont have the surging problem because I have been reading that people were getting it even with reciring it, so they would use that screw to adjust it.
The HKS uses washer I think not screws to tighten the spring. I have mine recird and it does not sound Like the mopar POS at all under full boost letting off it is quiet but off half throttle it sounds like a supra kind of
