Default need help

Got the car back today and it seems to be acting the same. The gasket at the down pipe was replaced and there wasn't any exhaust leak at the manifold according to the mitsubishi dealership. There is still the misfire in cylinder 4 and the oil leak at the oil pan and turbo return line. MY original problem was what it looks like am loosing boost some where along. The car accelerates perfect until i get to higher boost and then it feels like the turbo spools and am not getting nowhere. It feels like a non turbo car. Would the cylinder misfire (bad spark plug on cylinder 4 ) the oil pan leak and oil leak at the turbo return line have to do would loosing what i think is boost st higher engine rpms. Some one please help this noob . Am checking the oil level at the motor and i don't see any difference in level after i checked it .

mods list to the car?

Bad spark will cause the car to be slow and misfire

however so will boost cut which evos hit very easily. The mods list will help us direct you. As for now the oil has nothing to do with it

I lifted the car to see where the leak is coming from . It looks like the turbo return line itself and not the oil pan . it looks like its running down the oil pan and the oil pan plug. the car is stock and with no modds that i know . I 'm the second owner. just ordered the spark plugs for the misfire on cylinder 4 .I also notice that the service engine soon light goes on and off after a couple of miles.

have the ECU scanned to see if there are any codes in it. Autozone will do it for free. But its probably just the random cylinder misfire code, if thats what you say you have happening

do you have a boost gauge in the car? What PSI are you running. Does it taper off or hold solid

well let us know if what happens when you replace the spark plugs. If that doesnt do it there could be a faulty spark plug wire as well

replace the plugs and check back. John there are ony 2 short wires on the Evo. It has 2 coil packs on #2 and #4 or something like that. or 1 and 3 so there may not even be a wire to this plug
