oh yea thats right it has that like partial COP setup. In that case it could possibly be a Coil because my brothers car did the same thing. He was getting a misfire on just one cylinder and it turned out to be the pack

agin john the coils run 2 cyls so the misfire would not be isolated to one cyl in that were the case. The code would be a multi cyl misfire.

Well that is the funny thing. My brother had a misfire on 1 cyl from the code. So we replaced the Plugs. Still didnt fix it...so we replaced the 2 wires...still didnt fix it. So we replaced the coil, and that ended up being the problem. I know it doesnt seem to make sense, but it did work in his case.

must the breather hose be Connected to the diverter before the air filter . having a p0172 code after i connected this hose so i disconnected again.

on the stock intake setup yes. Or you can block off the hole on the intake tube and put a breather filter on the valve cover
