im not sure you can get it insured, all cars coming into the U.S. have to undergo crash testing, so unless you wanna crash it and rebuild it, hopefully passing the test, then you can get tags and insured...........

You can get it insured but you have to provide a ton of paperwork to show that it's safe, and it costs a ton of money to get it legalized and insured.
