some more random questions...
okay well, i'm on ebay, and i wanted to purchase bigger injectors. and cams. and fuel pump. I get the cams at murrays from a friend for 560 $.(hks 272). which is a pretty good bargain, i think?
should i buy the valve spring and retainers too? i dont plan to rev that high?
Also, i wanted to see what size of injectors i should get that'll support the stock 16g, and further support the bb 50 trim i plan on buying in 2 months. and is there a certain brand that's better?
also what fuel pump should i buy? and does that somehow increase horsepower?.
Once more thing, I bought an XS power intercooler by itself, but i dont know where i can get the pipes to match. Or pipes at all. It's a 2.5 inch opening, will that fit the stock pipes? or should i just go ahead and get bigger pipes? if so, where the hell can i look for them?
last one! i promise. once i install all these things, which should be in about a week or two, do i need to flash the ecu again? (please say no, please say no)...lol

Ok dont know if you read my last responce bout your ACD bleeding thing but it is in the other thread.
So this one here we go lol. I kno it all well as I am in the middle of installing a BB50trim in my Evo and needed all the supporting mods like you.
Your cams if that is the price used it is a little high, I got my HKS 272I/264E cams used for 1500 Miles for only $300 or something like that. New that is about right for a price.
Youll need at least 720cc injectors I got denso but anything really is fine FICs and RCs are nice too.
Youll need a walbro 255lph fuel pump for sure. it doesnt add power just safety and the Evo pump is not that great so it is important to do
you WILL NEED a reflash most importantly after all this stuff. Personally you might want to wait to install the parts untill your ready to go 50trim because otherwise youll need a tune after these parts then another flash after the 50trim.
The IC you got is it the "HUGE" core version? it is either 3inch or 4inch thick. prob 3 inch. the stock FMIC pipes can work you just will prob need to get some silicone or rubber couplers an T clamps for the end pipes. other wise you can get something like the buschur racing FMIC piping kit or even the injen hard pipe kit which is what I have. again personally if you want afull hard pipe IC kit then you can get the buschur upper IC pipe kit and then again wait for the BB50trim turbo because it will come with a lower IC pipe. all youll need is couplers and maybe youll need to cut the stock hoses that come off the stock IC and you can use those which is what I am doing for mine.

You will also need to get ARP head studs though. it is a very wise mod to do when you plan on running more boost or a bigger turbo. and If your still stock clutch which I cant remember what you put in youll need a new one for the 50trim if it is stock that is

ok well i bled the acd pump and all went well. the freaken lights are off!!!! i just ordered denson 720cc injectors. A walboro 255 fuel pump, and i just ordered only the upper intecooler pipe, because i figured if the turbo is soon leaving, then might as well leave it. Thanks for everything dude, you helped me alot. i'll post pics when i have everything installed, which should be sometime in two weeks.
I bought the cams for 540$ , 272intake and 272 exhaust. I said the hell with it. i dont want to wait to get a better deal. What i do want to know is, are 272 too agressive? and will they idle the same?

They will not idle like stock. they are not overkill though. the 280s are the ones you need valve springs and retainers for. From what I hear it is hard to get the car to idle prior to tuning it but i wont know untill my car is done which with any luck should be this week. Dont forget to get ARP head stud because when you do the cams you can do them too. you ont need to remove the head to do it. I did just to clean the motor and put a new head gasket in too.
