Default transmission

Hey so i posted about my 4th and 5th grinding and i was told it was my syncros. I was also told that i could try and change my tanny oil and put in the ams tranny fluid or other specialty fluid inso i am going to go ahead and try that. However i dont know where to check the fluidlevel(if there even is one) and where to drain and put oil back in. could some one send me so pics or help me out? thanks

there is no level check. the drain and filler are 2 different bolts they are big like a 22mm or something. I would recommend useing the BG syncroshift II fluid in the tranny. All it takes is 3 bottles so buy 3 bottles and put it all in and your good.

all three bottles is actually just slightly more than enough. the tranny takes like 2.96 qts and 3 bottles is 3 qt

changing your trans fluid will not alleviate already worn synchronizers. the fluid is suppost to be changed as a maintenece item to prevent premature wear.
