Default wastegate, blowvalve?

hello everyone, im driving a 06 evo mr i dubbed grey ghost ive been reading here on the forum on mods i would like to do, so far i installed a 3 inch exhaust. my next mod is gonna be a injen intake. now i read that the bov valve on a 06 evo's dont have to be changed out but can i still benefit from switching to a greddy or hks bov? and also a wastegate i couldnt find info on it. are they the same thing as a bov? be kind.

a new BOV will have no effect if anything it may have a negitive effect. a Diverter valve will stay the same. As for the wastegate no it is not the same as a BOV and no need to upgrade your wastegate.

You mods you should do are a boost controller, ECU flash

dont get the injen pipes.. Buschur and AMS make much better products for the IC piping. Mainly the LICP is the one you want to swap out that one is like 1 inch in Diameter so upgradeing atleast that one is a good idea

Enough with the injen stuff. it is a waste. esspecially intake. Evos are proven to perform better under the stock air box. Having an intake can cause issues with the MAF. I ran an intake and had not real issues BUT most people and tuners say to just keep the stock air box and run a nice drop in
