Default wiring gauges

hey whats the best way of wiring my boost gauge cause right now its running through the little gap inbetween the hood and door but i want to clean it up. also how can i wire the light on the gauge to work when i turn on the lights on the car, i did it last time i had gauges in but i forgot when i got better ones, i went from faze cheap gauge to autometer.

yeah through the hood and door is terrible, there's a hole in the firewall that you can pass the the wires through. it's a bi*** and a half usually but makes everything way cleaner.

is the hole on the driver or pass side, and can i tell if i see it that i can pass through

Yes youll be able to tell. Its right at the bottom of the steering column where it goes into the firewall.

yea found it im doing that right know cause we got some good weather here in tenn, for once, it looks easy but easier said then done,
