RVR Key Warnings
Hi I’m wondering if you could help me out with a quick question?
A couple months ago I was sitting in my car waiting on someone when my car just started beeping saying key in vehicle and telling me to turn vehicle off but I didn’t have the car going. I wasn’t even listening to the radio. The car has the fast pod ignition so I can’t manually remove a key from the car.
Since then for no reason my car will start flashing and beeping saying key in car, check doors or turn vehicle off. It does the whether I’m driving, parked with engine running or not. And my trunk doesn’t open anymore unless I crawl in the back, take off the plastic plate and open it manually. As I’m driving the light comes on my vehicle saying the trunk is open and it keeps comes open just enough to trigger the warning.
I don’t have the money right now to just swing into a garage for a check and I’m unsure if such an issue would be covered where I bought the car used so I’m hoping you could help me. Maybe it’s something I can fix myself.
