I have a 2003 Galant ES with 80,000 miles and an automatic transmission. I have notice that in stop and go areas the car will jump when going from a stop to a moving state. Also I have noticed that often the it seems that the transmission gets stuck in second gear and while slowing down to a stop it will not drop down to first gear. I have heard that a lot of people have had something much like this problem. Does any one have any ideas how to fix this problem?
